dragonfly stalks, skims
& hovers over water–
delicate hunter

the sun would chime reflections
dancing on water

That second haiku is delightful. I can imagine the sound.

I love dragonflies… light and sound as interchangeable and as one. Hmmmm.

  3. Nice! Really nice. Physics (specific gravity – skimming on water surface) Biology (food chain and suggestions of predation), light, color, sound, movement all combine to produce multilayered meanings and beautiful poetry!
