March is not spring
promised in seed catalogs
other places
here, it is unbloomed, precrocus want
a softening, finally naked
and waiting

i like hte anticipation in this…march is weird here…78 degrees today…Thursday its supposed to be 33 for the high…and potential for more snow…seriously screwed up…the catalogs are lying to me…smiles…
Oh, me too! They are selling a cheap hope π
March is not spring
promised in seed catalogs
other places…love these lines.
Aw, thank you!
over here she’s not so naked anymore…but yeah…the anticipation felt in every branch….
“precrocus want” – I love that! And you’re right, it lies naked, waiting.
Not going to be naked here after tomorrow. We are getting more snow still π
33 would be nice… nice description of March
Thank you! I’ll settle for that.
Oh, here it is waiting too. And I hear we will have more snow tonight. Sigh. I guess it will wait a while longer.
Yes, more on the way. I don’t know whether to sigh or scream π
March really doesn’t promise anything but misery, it seems. I like your poem π
Thank you! Last year, I wrote a poem where I called her a bitch π
March is really messing with us this year.
Oh, yes, it is…..
The thaw, the thaw, the ugly, wet, waiting, naked thaw. Soon the emeralds will be dazzling you! Lovely write. Missed you!
Missed you too!
Can’t wait for the greens.
March is a decisive being. Determined. I think. *smile*
Yes, I agree!
As I watch it snowing, AGAIN, I agree with your words. And love how much feeling you fit into the micropoetry form. Well done!
Thank you, Shanyn. Blizzard warning here too, in Buffalo, again. Sheesh. Thank you for the great prompt and the lovely flower pics.
just right for the season and the winter we’ve had here in Chicagoland…
Thank you–here too, though I think you’ve had it colder…
march is almost autumn here. hullo from the other side
Hello, southern hemisphere!!!!!
It does sound wearisome – it’s been a crazy winter, upside-down season in most places. For us, it was too mild (and we live up in the mountains).
Oh, my…We have all the harsh weather here.

Me too! Thanks for commenting!
True – March can be weird – it’s not spring here yet and quite fluctuations in weather really. Enjoyed the contrast you built.
Thank you! We had a blizzard today π
