the new world

the new world
waits, like a penny
to pick up

toss
into air
and guess
which face lands up

a game
where rules
change
on a dime

About Susan L Daniels

  4. I like this poem a lot. It says it all.

pretty much a balance of heads or tails, no matter which said the coin drops, it always seems unfair for this world to guess the horrible things that might occur.

    Excellent!

I’d like to know what lies behind this poem. Rules changing on a dime.
