About Susan L Daniels
I am a firm believer that politics are personal, that faith is expressed through action, and that life is something that must be loved and lived authentically--or why bother with any of it?
Thank you for sharing this link. It is pure pain but it was also so worth reading and I would not have seen it, I don’t think, were it not for you pointing it out…
Thank you–I had to share it.
That’s an amazing piece. x
I agree. thanks for reading.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Paula. Had to.
Bloody hell. I hated every second of this. Every second.
Understood. Must have sucked to have to write it, as well. Damn.
The whole damned thing sucks. Hideous.
Oh—you hate the poem? Gotcha. I don’t like the subject, but it was strong. Had a hard, visceral edge to it that I thought needed sharing. Sorry I assaulted you with it.
NO! I don’t hate the writing! I hate the scenario.
Oh, OK! Laughing at myself now. Please remind me to never, ever read your comments without coffee in my system again…
Never ever read my Comments without coffee in your system again.
Off to get some cappuccino now.
I think you may need an extra shot in that. You know it makes sense.
And you’re right. Need that nerve-jangling American-style cappy right now.
That poem really gets you into the head of the rape victim and helps you see why rape jokes are not funny.
It’s an amazing poem. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Georgia. i had no choice–it screams to be heard.
Thank you for sharing this, Susan. It was painful to read, and made me so angry, at all parties involved.
Oh, me too. Glad you read it though. It needs to be shared.
Amazing and so painful.
Julie, oh, yes…
