instruments of discretion,
these bullets, shot straight

will bring some needed freshness

I’m afraid the significance of this is lost on me. Is it a reference to that spoof website claiming there are palns to legislate against tampons? Just wondered is all.
Here’s the story. The Texas state house marshalls were searching purses for tampons and maxi pads (things that could be thrown at senators), but the spectators were of course allowed to keep their guns and bullets. Hah.
I wish you were joking, but you aren’t are you? Jeepers.
No joke. I wish.
Bugger me. What is it with those guys?
Bullets are okay, but tampons? NEVER.
For f****’s sake.
YES! I think this is going to be all over the place–too insane not to spread this news.
politicians – they never cease to repulse me – what insanity
Oh, I so agree. Confiscating tampons, but allowing guns in the statehouse 😉
The absurdity of it is stunning.
haha oh my… Susan, you never cease to amaze me with your works. i enjoyed this a lot – quirky and cool.
had to unfollow and re-follow you, since for some reason your posts no longer showed up in my reader?! strange being, this wordpress creature…
Aw, thank you, Miri!
haahaahaahaa! you too?
Oh, I had to do this, once I saw the picture of the tampon shooter!
this just cracks me up…i knew i was carrying weapons around somehow… oh my….smiles
LOL, yep. Deadlier than guns.
*snicker* There were the generals in Myanmar who feared women’s underwear, and now we have our very own leaders on the run from tampons. Who knew?
Hahaha–too funny.
Not much makes me even giggle out loud at my computer… but this made me laugh. The picture and the poem are PERFECT together. Perfect commentary on the insanity that has grown among us. LOVE it! 🙂
Thank you, Alice!
This is too funny Susan. America? Then what would one expect from Africans? We must be excused for our ‘backwardness’ then.
Hah–backward? Nothing is more backward than the mess they have made of politics here.
