morning’s a rough slap
on the cheek, chasing dreams
under the pillow

Warm light, gentle stream,
a golden necklace stretching
across rested frames
beautiful, Noel!
light dances on fields
of belligerent sleep, chasing
crows and hard scarecrows
JCC, this is magical!

Why are you running! Come back here! Beautiful haiku!

It fits, so well. Off to get coffee.
🙂 too kind
I want to chase after them…
Me too. instead, I am off to get an iced capp and then time for this one to work. Hope those dreams wait for me under the pillow.
Morning’s a rude wake
Two boys at it over toys
What else is new, mum?
Have a nice day, Susan 🙂
Hahaha–mine now fight over the Kindle Fire nonstop. Lord help us.
Don’t you just hate that?
Oh, yes. Yes, I do. They CANNOT share electronics, let alone toys.
Not ever had to experience that, but I surely do hate the sudden waking thing. Probably just as well I don’t have the problem of someone else waking me. I do that for myself in the early watches of the morning. Depression will do that. At least I can only get crabby with myself. hHo hum.
Brief debility–
Difficulty with sun light.
Remedied by you.
Everybody putcha love glasses on:)
Hee, hee. Love the response, Angie!
That feeling of disappointment at the loss of a dream, night last. Good dreams about my children, I wish would go on without end.
I know what you mean, and in those cases, morning is a rude assault on the senses.
Short and sharp! I like it!
Thanks, Holly!
isnt morning a four letter word? ugh wonderful romp through haikus
Yes, I had no idea what I’d started! Fun!
aahh this was very eye squinting as if I were afraid to read the next line~ but i loved it!
Thanks, Deb!
pretty much described my morning here in Akron, OH this morning.
Heh, understand that too well. Sometimes mornings are rude.
