Animals think
they’re pretty smart
shit on the ground,
see in the dark
but they do see
to not step
in their own shit
so they are smarter than us.

..hmm in the words of Herr Schmultz…very interesting….:-)
Oh, Jen, I was cracking up reading that in my comments–I had to share the lunacy.
glad you did 🙂 keep on sharin’
heh-heh 😀
Thanks, Polly!
lol, great final line :o)
Thanks, Mary!
I wish my Span was as inspirational as yours!!
Hahaha–I am still trying to figure out what to do with the tooth formation crap I keep getting!
You have the coolest spam. I only get fake rolex and viagra. I suppose there are poems in there for the truly creative mind. Not mine, so far.
They are few and far between, but fun when they happen.
That is some interesting spam! One of my favorite Talking Heads songs- Animals. Its pretty funny.
Love that song!
LWKMD!
Hahaha–I bet you get some interesting spam too!
Gee, all I get is spam in my spam.
Hee, hee. this was too cool to pass up.
Spam or no spam, I think there is a lot of truth and wisdom in this. 🙂
I thought so too, and I had to use that first stanza from arguably the strangest spam I’ve ever had.
I love this! I’m still giggling at the humor and marveling at the truth. It’s a beautiful thing when those two qualities happen together!
Yes–I rarely think of spam as a gift…
roflmao, so true.
Susan, there is such wisdom in these spamic words. We do step in our own shit so to speak, and end up blaming others for making us shit. 🙂 (language, language, language!)
Hee, hee. Wait until you get to my Ani DiFranco poem–you will be chasing me with a bar of soap…
