three sparrows
arrange themselves
like thirded half notes–

feathered tones resting
stacatto
on a clefless staff
of taut power lines

music for a snowy morning

      was drafting & crafting a poem in response to a tweet from a friend. So, I am moving from birds to tweets as inspiration this morning.
