what happens quietly
in front of us
cockroaches led by wasps
silent crickets
mayflies born without mouths

how do we sleep
in the middle of
mindless need?

    nice piece of poetry, feel the jungle around me, reminds me of an insane 2 day train ride from Calcutta to Benares….ooohhh, what i would give to get these mindless hours of hiding from flying, buzzing insects back…
