tonight
I am going to the mall
wearing camouflage
face covered
but for my eyes
I will occupy the center bridge
over the concourse–
count the bodies
streaming store to store
within range
and
instead of tear gas
I will cloud the air
with confetti
in the place of bullets
I will rain down
chocolate
the fun size bars
in handfuls
indiscriminately firing
***Nelle, the best I could do
Count me in. Make it dark chocolate, and… let it rain! Nicely done.
🙂 Thanks! Happy editing. I did get my hands on some really GOOD dark chocolate a friend brought me from Germany, loaded with hazelnuts…
Share love, not hate!
Yes!
Let me know which mall you are going, I will be there too to collect the bullets 😉
🙂
nice message here.
:Thanks, Don! I wanted to perpetrate an act of random silliness.
Nicely written with a powerful message
Thanks, Celestine. Wonder if I would get arrested for senselessly generating smiles?
