days like these
I want an exit sign
right there
on the ceiling
where I can
if I really want to
jump out of this skin
& leave the planet
temporarily
to the insane
(both criminal
& not)
but that
in itself
lets me know
I belong here
with the rest
of the crazies
Nice for the exit challenge? I did think about it
yeah–all i could come up with 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it.
There are good and bad crazies, right?
When I was in nursery school my friends and I had a little “box” where we would all crowd together. We actually called it “Crazy Corner.” My preschool teacher let us have this special place until one day Crazy Corner got too crazy and crashed to the floor with all of us in it. Alas, no more Crazy Corner.
And it’s too bad because I have never had once since and probably would have benefitted from having another. Crazy Corner remains one of my favorite memories.
Oh, Jeremy–I want to go to “Crazy Corner!” Sounds like a fun and fabulous place to be!
Ha! Yes, know the feeling well – where’s the escape hatch?
🙂 still looking for it–will let you know when I find it!
Sorry, Susan, but yes — you do!
hahaha–sad thing is, I am very much aware of that 😉
hang in there!
🙂 will do–this was written for a prompt where I had to use the word “exit,” and all I could think of was something with dark humor!
Good one !!!
🙂 thanks!
love this. i was already there, where the heck have you been…oops i forgot, i think we are in the same room now:)
Don–love the comment! I want to find Jeremy’s Crazy Corner…
you’re not crazy, you’re full of love !
My friend, you are too sweet!
Ha ha! Don’t we all? 🙂
Yes, we do!
I really really like this one.. sums my week up
let me know if you find that exit sign…
kinda like the “easy Button”
LOL, yes. Still looking for the “clean house” button and the “mute children” button too.
