I am a firm believer that politics are personal, that faith is expressed through action, and that life is something that must be loved and lived authentically--or why bother with any of it?
I don’t normally use the adjective “sweet” to describe any poetry, but, really, this is a sweet and simple little piece. I find it refreshing. It makes me smile! 🙂
I have over-used the word “beautiful” on your blog and it is all your fault – blame the poet and not the poetry! but this is beautiful!
me thinks me hears the flower respond
“remember you is
fun, you whose kind fingers sing
petals to unfurl”
Nice imagery 🙂
Thanks, Amrit!

Oh my! Thanks so much. Beautiful is a word that can never be overused, even when (or perhaps because) it makes me blush 🙂
Like your response haiku, too!
How can you not remember? Beautiful imagery
Thanks, Celestine 🙂
If I do forget, I will be reminded in early summer, when my lawn is as blue as the sky 🙂
Lovely glow in your haiku sky, Susan 🙂 I’ll not forget it either.
