if I write of ants
or the movements of the earth
or even a dance of planets
I can only guess at
if I write of you
of how one touch
flowers me
or if I write
of deeper love
than this new one;
finely woven
tenderly & impersonally
through all matter
those strings theoretically
binding together singularity
into wholeness,
threads that still shiver
pan-dimensional ripples
from that creation cry
but these do
speak-sing to one knowing
too big to catch at once
in my ordinary net
so I see it only
in flashes
under water
& escaping
there is lovely contrast and dimension here. what a delightful piece of art. ~jane
Thanks so much, Jane 🙂
ahh favorite one of the day today… you’re on fire today 🙂
Thanks, Audra–time to put it out and edit heme-oncology reports…I like this one lots, too–for the second stanza 🙂
I like that one too
I also like:
threads that shiver
pan-dimensional ripples
Thanks much! Praise from you–master wordsmith–means a lot 🙂
The poet manages to transmit the ripples and shivers the subject of this poem feels to even us the readers! Pan-dimensional ripples – now that is strong and beautiful!
Noel, thank you–cannot catch what I want to here–it is too big for words–but I liked this flash, very much!
I like this susan!
Thanks, Jenni!
Ah super strings and singularity’s me like much
Thanks, Ian. Wish what I wanted to say here would not keep evading me…grrr!
