I don’t get it.>KB
Oh, WordPress has this page that promotes posts from bloggers, and they just informed me they DO try to feature a post from a poetry blogger a few times a month. I have never seen it, but I think it would be worthwhile to let them know when we see a post worth promoting site-wide.
Yes, I agree, Susan; I have never seen a poetry post on Freshly Pressed. Well, come to think of it, I think I might have once, a long time ago. . . and to be honest, I didn’t like it. lol
well, hurry–there is one on there now! They insist they do a couple a month…
I’ll check it out!
My theory is if we pester them with suggestions, they might up the frequency 😉
Worth a try. Poetry blogs don’t seem to exist unless you are a poetry blogger. . . if you follow me.
Yes–know what you mean, but we are out there, and loads of us…
Hey, give me a hint, which Freshly Pressed post? I’m on page two. Did I miss it?
it is right underneath that thing about ants. Not the greatest, but it is a POEM 😉
oh–duh on me–first page.
Got it. Well, it’s something! 🙂
🙂 I am going to tweet them a post a day, from someone–poetry is that good here, I think.
ooh, I like that idea.
Yay–I think you should do it too!
I also think
good writing about good poetry would be fantastic to see, as well.
They don’t seem to like poetry, but why not good writing about good poetry as well?
I’d be interested in seeing it too.
You know I am too!
It was actually my convo with you that prompted me asking them via the forums.
So, as always, you ROCK!
I’m flushing like Ana Steele!
EEK! You wrote THAT NAME
on my blog. You have SULLIED it, my dear. I would prefer it if you just wrote “shit balls, fuck, fuck, fuck,” all over it 😉
Good thing I like you…
Fuckballs.
Thank you, that’s an improvement 😉
I would be interested in more poetry being freshly pressed
Me too. So…I would suggest we all keep nominating stuff to them.
In general, I’ve not been impressed with FP. it tends to be light subject matter and tends to be mixed posts, writing with imagery. It used to be each tag led to a page of others of like tags, that I liked.
Oh, I vaguely remember that for a month or so after I started–I liked that!
