This is from my daughter, who wanted to read what mom wrote today. Looks like she can spit fire as far as, if not further than, her mom.
Wow – never let your daughter run out of pencils!!
We are messed up eh!? One half of the world is hysterical about child protection, the other insists a girl is already a woman. Some middle ground please, World!!
Hee, hee. What can I say–she pulls no punches, that girl.
Wisely, and powerfully written. Out of the mouth of babes…well done Zoe
She says thanks 😉
strong fiery daughter, strong fiery Mom…strong tree
oh, Lord yes. She never would have been born in another country, one such as this, because her mother would have been stoned long ago…But by the grace of God, these women and girls could be us.
Very powerful.
Thanks–she is quite passionate about stuff like this.
I’ve read all your posts on this topic Susan ~ you must be very proud of Zoe ~ the fruit does not fall far from the tree
I am very proud of her. She came home, asked what I had written today, and started muttering under her breath. I told her to go write it down, and she did…
Child Marriage should be stopped everywhere. It’s a pathetic practice !!!
Challenging and heart rending! worth ten poems! Zoe’s voice speaks the pain and bewilderment of children in other cultures trapped in this traffic of infamy! Mum, please tell Zoe that I am reblogging this!
I did & she was thrilled…she wanted your opinion!
Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. I want to fill up the entire comment box with that.
Reblogged this on visionvoiceandviews.
Thanks, Noel–Z will be thrilled!
Rock on sister Zoe! May she always have the passion and fire she does now. She’s the best of herself and the best of her Mother…I know you are very proud Susan, and you should be. She should be proud of herself.
Hmmm…She is so much more aware of the world, and so much more of an activist than I was at 2. Look out world. Here comes Zoe!
For Zoe…as giant as I could make it!

YAY–I will show her.
Powerful and brilliant in presentation.
THanks, Nelle–All Zoe’s words.
Powerful, Zoe, full of rightful indignation. And for your information, some of the girls kill themselves or at best, run away from home rather than face marriage to men as old as between 50 and 70 years. Well done. 🙂
I will pass that on, Celestine. Those poor, poor girls.
