I agree with you. Completely. ๐

I put the gay pride flag on my blog today for this very reason. I have been hearing all about the Chick fil A “Apprection Day” crap that the right-wing is pushing (more bigotry, as usual) and I just felt like I had to fly the flag. ๐
YAY! That’s a much healthier response that showing one’s appreciation for tolerance at Kentucky Fried by eating a meal, which was what I had seen suggested elsewhere. I just do not understand how one’s choice of life partner can make someone more (or less) moral than someone else, or how someone can feel free to comment or judge someone else for those choices. It nauseates me to think of it. Since when do we have to “tolerate” anyone else’s lifestyle anyway–that in and of itself rubs me the wrong way. I have a friend who is openly gay, and he has said–forget tolerance–I want to be respected.
What a great idea to do that, Jeremy.
