anyone feeling a little baroque today?
this starts
so easily
led carefully
until I am strung
and chorded
in this stormed
follia
inside my breathing
the patterns
layered
in composition
like blood through veins
carries sweet
this
fine threading
in progressive
stitched rhythm
body as instrument
your hands
chording music
to dizziness
I am knit into
nice interlude π
Experimental piece written while listening to it now attached π
Lovely!
Thanks–updating this with something I wrote while listening to it π
wonderful! π
my experiment is now attached π
this sings so sweetly and thoroughly. so happy reading it again and again.
Jane, thank you–I am so grateful for your comment, and that you liked my experiment. I might just have to write to baroque music more often, as I really liked the result.
This was a perfect accompaniment to the music. I’m so glad you included it in your post..
Thank you, Mimi. I have been limiting myself to writing with jazz in the headphones. Might just have to change that.
Almost sensual
Yes, and it is all that dizzying, intricate music stringing one along…so beautiful.
As a poet…I am Baroque…As a reader of your poems…I am Chopin-ning at the bit for more…as an emotional mess…I am Rach-man-inoff to admit it.
As a sfam…I’m quite silly.
π you are brilliantly punny, and I love it!
oh great…i’ve gone from funny to punny! is that a step up or down?
It is a lateral move–and all good π
phew
Delicate stitchery is your gift as Vivaldi! Congrats on your success! Xo
Thank you π
