faith, embodied

I should breathe worship
like old-order Amish
every conscious second
every action
a prayer of movement

and letting be

About Susan L Daniels

I am a firm believer that politics are personal, that faith is expressed through action, and that life is something that must be loved and lived authentically--or why bother with any of it?

you breathe poetry…you worship the world around you that way. the amish also worship that way, they just don’t talk about it. 🙂

    • exactly–I have a few in my neighborhood–I might end up as “plain people” yet 🙂

I have lived around them and have been able to see (and feel) the way they love their lives and they way they absolutely do worship everything in it. They are a good inspiration and we all could be much worse than to be considered “plain”. nicely done sfam

        • I honestly cannot think of a better way to live 🙂

They do find the hand of the creator in everything, and worship him in almost a constant conversation, and give glory back to him through everything they do. I think a better word for them would be the “enlightened people,” but they would find that too “fancy.”

          Thanks SFAM!
