so you have found joy
when you were not looking
as most of us do

you move through your days
smiling, because
now you know
how fast a sigh can burn
through your veins
like Everclear 190

without the hangover

still, try to be careful–
this ether you sip
and call love

while it won’t show up
on your breath
or in your blood

is intoxicating
and you will spin with it

and
it should have a warning label

    Handle with Care: Causes heart palpitations, heavy breathing, sweating, impaired judgement, spontaneous eruptions, laughter, tears, joy, and sorrow. Has been known to draw blood, but not usually fatal.
    Directions: Take in small doses as it’s effects are cumulative. If adverse reactions developed, do not stop taking, try a different flavor.
