not sitting but curved against stone
smoothed to skin smoothness
by stroking water

my hands mirror
that caress

marvel
at that sleek shape
patience has carved
over eons

    A patient carver is patience., slowly she smoothens rough ragged edges, and so too does it carve our minds with care and compassion. The photo says it all…and the shoot that struggles through crack also has a message of its own! Well done, Susan!

      Thank you, Noel…And that shoot in the crack will split that rock with a magic of its own, life rising from stone that will eventually split my turtle rock down the middle in defiant joy 🙂
