I am no more and no less
then what I seem to be;
a whole sum of my parts
material and immaterial
adding up to this thing
I call self

so clever and so succinct susan – i effing love it
Thank you Kyle–the random things you think of while cleaning house…
its so true – i wrote a really long piece once, called the plumber, all inspired by my having to unblock a sink once lol
🙂 yes! Inspiration can find us, or we find it, everywhere.
Hmmm, waxing poetic while waxing the furniture. and pondering prose while plumbing a sink. geesh…is NOTHING sacred to you poets? if you keep finding beauty in all things mundane, i shall never be able to complain about anything again! where will i be then? i shutter to think of myself skipping through my house with a vacuum in one hand and a plunger in the other, humming! it’s not right!
lol…uh, Rhonda…If you ask me what I was doing on FB or in e-mail, I will tell you, but it was nothing as pretty as plunging, vacuuming, or dusting.
then…i shall just have to ask you. i find i MUST know. 😉
LOL
Succinct and truth.
Thanks, Nelle 🙂
what we call the immaterial is the material part of us…and that knows no limits, and is not confiined in space and time! wonderful poem!
Thank you! I love these snippets of art/truth that can come to us and are shaped by our minds as we move through the day…
