if everything begins
once upon a time
let’s explore
the princess and the pea
with delicious sensitivity
sleeping beauty ringed by thorns
fondled by the prince
before he kisses her awake
and jack, with his stalk
that grew as tall
as a giant’s
sex set in story
has an innocence to it,
no matter where it takes you
shifts into art form
not like second cousin porn
where naked honesty
and money shots
leave nothing imagined
the difference
between a nice fuck
& making love
the fine line
these two forms
cross and recross
until the line blurs
and it’s all just
that good.
