habit breaking (cycles)

1.  I crave so baldly

yes, crave

that death-giving
killer of feeling

cigarette

that
until yesterday
was what saved
everyone

from random
floating bitchiness

that poisoned air
as much as second-hand smoke

2.  It is not so difficult

not so long

as I drag this mind
whine/kicking

and generally tantrumming

from #1.

Oh heck, you all can do it. If I can you can. I have zero willpower…zip, zilch. but there ya go. I’m here if anyone needs a pep talk! 🙂

“Random/ floating bitchiness.” That’s fantastic. I can visualize it but it also makes me laugh.

I have imparied breathing…so smoke makes me very sick indeed…. but that does not save me from habits! My bad habit is that second hand-full of almonds! I’m positively adicted to them. As you say…we just have to turn away…turn to something that can enthrall us and make our bodies crave the clear cool air.
