Thanks so much for stopping by & commenting! Appreciate it.
Best part of this is, the picture is eye-stuck in the first read, and in the second read, nectar of haiku could be tasted!
Jaideep, thanks so much!
the first one hit me hard, yes it did.. Thank you Susan for sharing this though provoking creation of yours…
Glad you liked them 🙂

Thanks so much, Pranita & thanks for stopping by…
A prisoner of self! Freedom or continued self incarceration? Perpetual indecision? Backsliding? Regression? Choices as the key issue in our destiny as humans? Lock and unlock? to be or not to be? Too many questions as I read and re-read this poem, worried and feeling concerned that this indeed could be the truth of the human condition! Good poem and the quotes from Rhonda enrich it.
Thank you, Noel. One of the signs a haiku/senryu has been successful (in my opinion, anyway) is by how many comments or questions it generates 🙂
Excellent use of the metaphor of lock and key ~ And I also like the pendulum ~

Lock and key…a game of uncertainties indeed. Lovely 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by–yes and no, lock and key, indecision and action…. 🙂
Enjoyed reading this gem of truth in such a concise manner … we are often too close to “see the forest for the trees”!! Nice one!
Thank you Becca 🙂
