it is not falling
that we should fear, my dear one–
it’s the sudden stop

    • It was–just what you said in my other short poem triggered it–he said the part about not being afraid of the fall–just the sudden stop 🙂

    • Thank you so much–this is really more of a found haiku, because the roofer shouted this down to me (minus the “my love” part) when I asked him if he was afraid of falling.
