reinventing joy
renovation peels away
layers of old pain

cherry trees, once bare
cover themselves in petals
pink renovation

in renovation
only the surface changes
the core is constant

    Today was not the day to take the Haiku Heights challenge–a 4-syllable word really limits you. I think from now on, I will leave it to you masters of the form out there 🙂
