Manic Pixie Dream Girl

Tinker me pink
because I will never
wear serious red

because my hair
is tangerine
some days

cotton-candy blue

to draw  your mouth happy

I am spun sugar
stuck to your tongue,
sweet that never
grows up or out

unclaimed sunshine
breaking the clouds
of your brooding

About Susan L Daniels

I am a firm believer that politics are personal, that faith is expressed through action, and that life is something that must be loved and lived authentically--or why bother with any of it?

  1. “Tinker me pink”? Is that a euphemism? 😉 I like it – all fluffy!

boy I really like this Susan. the colors and play on words and the last line totally made me think of my teen (smirk)

  3. Wow! The euphemism is so textured!
