we don’t know we are waiting

crocuses
after the winter softens

we don’t know
we are waiting

until we grow
until we open

and opening

begin to sing sweetness

  1. Beautiful on every level of reading! The beauty of flowers unfurling – and it is the flowers speaking the joy of that experience – singing sweetness! add brightening spaces and faces!
